A Dream Realized: A New Gathering Space for the Nalá Community
Great news from the heart of Argentina’s Chaco province: the long-awaited dining hall and fellowship space at the Nalá church is officially open! What was once just a shared dream among local leaders, congregation members, and supporters across the globe is now a vibrant, functional reality—and it is already transforming how the church serves its surrounding neighborhood.
The renovated space is spacious, bright, and built to handle the busy rhythm of daily community life. One of the smartest upgrades involved opening up the layout: workers removed the barrier wall between the main sanctuary and the new hall, replacing it with heavy-duty sliding doors. This flexible design instantly doubles the capacity of the building when big events draw a crowd. On packed Sunday mornings, Pastor Kenth can simply slide the doors wide open, seamlessly expanding the sanctuary to seat everyone comfortably under one roof.
Versatile Spaces for Daily Ministry
During the week, closing the doors creates distinct spaces that operate simultaneously without disruption. On any given afternoon, you might find a Sunday school class or youth Bible study meeting in one section while warm meals are being prepared and served in another. Between the main sanctuary, the new dining space, and the original fellowship room, multiple programs can now run side by side—maximizing every square foot of the property to serve the community’s diverse needs.
For the congregation and local families in Nalá, having a fully covered space with solid, clean flooring is a true blessing and a game-changer for ministry. Rain or shine, local kids now have a safe, dry place for group games, theater rehearsals, and birthday parties.
